Overview
PixoStats provides privacy-aware website analytics. This policy explains the information we process when you create an account, use the service, or install PixoStats on a website.
Information we collect
Account information includes your name, email address, encrypted password, sites, settings, API keys, webhooks, and report preferences. Contact form submissions include the name, email address, subject, and message you provide. Analytics data may include page URLs and paths, referrers, event names, browser and device details, approximate location, screen size, language, campaign parameters, performance measurements, and JavaScript error details. When you purchase a plan, Stripe processes your card and billing information; PixoStats receives related customer, payment, and subscription records but does not receive your full card number.
Visitor identification
PixoStats derives a short-lived visitor identifier from the visitor's IP address, user agent, site identifier, and a daily salt. The raw IP address is used during request processing for approximate location and abuse prevention; it is not stored in the analytics event record. Visitor identifiers rotate daily.
How we use information
We process information to operate analytics reports, maintain accounts, secure and improve the service, deliver requested email reports and webhooks, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests. We do not sell personal information.
Do Not Track
The PixoStats tracking script does not collect an event when a visitor's browser sends a Do Not Track value of 1.
Data sharing
Information may be processed by infrastructure, database, email, and security providers needed to operate PixoStats. Stripe processes card payments and manages hosted checkout and billing services as an independent payment provider under its own privacy terms. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent abuse and SMTP2GO to deliver messages. We may also disclose information when legally required or to protect the service, our users, or others. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and security
Detailed analytics are retained for 90 days. Aggregate analytics are retained by plan: 12 months for Free, 24 months for Small, 60 months for Medium, and without a fixed limit for High and Founder while the applicable plan and service remain available. Account, billing, and operational records are retained while needed to provide the service and meet legal or operational obligations. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may update or delete sites, download a copy of account and retained analytics data, or permanently delete your account from Billing. You may also contact us to request access or correction.
Changes
We may update this policy as PixoStats evolves. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date.
